Terms & Conditions

TRANSPARENCY IS MY FAVOURITE WORD- this is what I believe in the most.

In order to make sure that both you and I are happy to go into business together, I wrote down the Terms and Conditions clearly. No small print. Please read it through thoroughly.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT

To confirm services, a 15% non refundable deposit is required.

Final payment is 30 days prior to service.

Once the nonrefundable deposit has arrived, you will be sent an invoice on which the remaining amount, with the deadline for payment, will be indicated.

Due to delays with international transfers an extra three working days should be taken into account to make sure funds arrive on time.

  • PARLIAMENT TICKETS

Regarding the Hungarian Houses of Parliament: although I will do my best to get you tickets, it may be sold out on the required dates. This usually happens in the high-season, particularly with late bookings.

Occasionally the building is closed to the public, for example during visits by foreign dignitaries or other high-security events. There are no tours on certain days such as New Year’s Day or Christmas Eve.

Please specify if you have an interest in visiting the Parliament before you book a Grand Budapest Tour to avoid disappointment.

The Hungarian House of Parliament reserves the right to cancel any tour.

  • MATTHIAS CHURCH TICKETS

Our best-known Church is open to tourists between 9-5pm on weekdays.

On Saturdays, especially in the high season, it can be closed to the public due to wedding ceremonies or other religious events.

The Matthias Church is always closed to the public on Sundays for mass. It re-opens at 1 pm. Tourist are not permitted entry before that time.

Please contact me before booking so that I can check the opening hours.

  • GREAT SYNAGOGUE TICKETS

The Jewish holy day, or Sabbath, begins at sunset on Friday. The Great Synagogue (and the orthodox synagogue as well) closes its doors to the public on Friday afternoons until Sunday mornings.

Please contact me before booking so that I can check the opening hours.

  • HOUSE OF TERROR

The House of Terror is closed on Mondays, in common with other European museums.

It is usually open from 10-6pm Tuesday- Sunday.

On certain national holidays it might be closed.
